Et Cetera

Here are some of my favorites

01.

We've been doing this for a while now.

We thought if you're still here you'd be interested in a few of them. Naturally, there are highs and lows. And work we just couldn’t for whatever reason, get made. First up some work we completed for “THE UNITED NATIONS”.

We concepted this whilst we were expecting our first child.
Brace yourself.
It doesn't make for easy viewing.
Powerful, important work that still needs doing.
The one show agreed.

02.

We made this for the editor of the above spot.

Revisiting the pre-digital age when editors were fondly referred to as “cutters” we found the perfect retro way to convey the precision of the craft: a thin stainless steelblade/filmstrip hybrid.

It duly helped her cut through the clutter.

03.

Jerry Seinfeld

We worked with director Christian Charles to create this campaign to promote his documentary "Comedian"

It played in theaters and was particularly well received as it was sandwiched between other 'in a world' spots that were a staple at the time.

A Cannes Lion winner.

04.

CNN

The great thing about the web as opposed to broadcast is that you ostensibly control it -

A campaign and a tagline was born,

05.

The History channel

Here's a piece we concepted that wondered how Hitler might react when he discovered his local cable operator wasn't carrying the HISTORY CHANNEL in HD

As loved as it was, it never ran.

06.

Microsoft

Branded Content. This idea we loosely based on a show from the UK called 'Troubleshooter'  featuring Sir John Harvey Jones, ex-chairman of ICI - We did this with 'Diamond' Jack Welch and his wife Susie.

07.

Some print from when we first worked on the Microsoft brand.
At a review of all brand work a certain Bill Gates pointed at it.
"That one, I like that one"
What does he know.
Look - a Coupon!!

07.

New York Rangers

Few teams are lucky enough to have fans as rabid as the New York Rangers.

We tapped in to that by creating überfan Bobby Granger Oh, and an entire identity, a ton of outdoor, guerilla and interactive to boot on a pretty basic budget.

Pro tip, if work is good, people will do it for less money.

True story, Bobby was the precurser to TED Lasso

08.

American express

This was when Amex was in an 'offers' period. Hands up who remembers Moviephone?

09.

We recognized what a comedic talent Isiah Whitlock was earlier than most, Sadly (for his residuals) this spot featuring him, never ran..

10.

IBM

A hit AND a miss with this particular campaign.

Having pointed out that banking, air travel and shopping were all going to be better, the execs realized that this campaign was ahead of it's time and might alienate a few IBM customers in the banking, air travel and shopping sectors…  so this work didn't run.

We also designed the e business Logo!
